The option allows internal generation of signals in accordance with the wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11n in its current D2.00 pre-release draft.
The user can configure the frame blocks and PPDUs via the convenient graphical user interface of the R&S SMU.
Channel bandwidths of 20 MHz and 40 MHz are supported. The high throughput (HT) mode allows high data rate 802.11n signals to be generated.
Furthermore, this option includes MIMO capabilities (generation of one to four spatial streams; one to four TX antennas.)
